Android 7.0 Nougat: Attractive features

Google’s latest Android version Nougat is out of beta with new attractive features than marshmallow. These features in terms of performance, notifications, security, battery & data, productivity, accessibility and more.

Multitasking feature:

Android Nougat 7.0 will allow users to open two apps in split-screen mode. Split-screen works in both landscape and portrait mode. By this feature you can switch between apps with a double tap, and run two apps side by side.
For example: user can post on Facebook and watch a video on YouTube at the same time.

Quick Settings options:

Android Nougat 7.0 supports more Quick Settings when you slide down the notifications window. You can have up to nine toggles in a single Quick Settings screen, and access even more by swiping to the right.

New Google keyboard:

In Android Nougat 7.0, Google keyboard is also getting new features. The search giant is bringing new themes for the keyboard, which users can further customize by adding or removing borders between keys or by adding colours. It also includes new emoji characters.

Refurbished notifications:

This is biggest updates coming in Android Nougat 7.0. This feature allows access to more options and swift toggles without swiping down the notification shade twice.

Long battery life:

Doze, a feature that was hosted with Android Marshmallow, is coming with a few improvements of its own with Android 7.0. In Nougat, it will work not only when your phone is not in use, but also when your phone screen is turned off. This is predictable to improve the battery life of devices.

New recent apps:

This feature allows you to open last used app by double tapping the recent app button. You can select through the apps by click on the recent apps key successively. When you stop tapping the key, the selected app will open in full-screen.

Block phone numbers at system level:

This feature allows user to block phone numbers at system level, directly from apps like Dialer, messenger and other apps. If a number has been blocked at system level then other apps on the device will also block it.
For example: when you block a number via Dialer then it will also be blocked by other apps.
